Diatom is a CLI tool for creating and searching notes (in an editor of your choice). It:
- Fuzzy searches notes by title or text
- Quickly creates new note-files from a template
- Optionally exports data as semantic triples for analysis by another tool
- Supports automated rewrites, with manual diff approval or fully automatic rewrites
Diatoms are vastly complicated organisms that display beautiful silica cell-walls. The mix of freeform organic growth and pleasing regularity seems appropriate to well-guided note-taking.
