This repo contains documents that describe the governance practices for the SPDX Working Group.
The SPDX Working Group oversees development of the SPDX materials in the SPDX GitHub org, including the following:
- the SPDX Specification itself
- the SPDX License List XML and data repos
- the various software libraries and tools provided by the SPDX project
The SPDX Working Group is a working group that operates within The Linux Foundation.
The SPDX Governance model was adopted and approved at the SPDX General Meeting on 2nd September 2021, and is based on a modified version of the Community Specification model from the Joint Development Foundation.
