playsound
simpleaudio
winsound : only supports wav files
python-sounddevice : cross platform
pydub : play and convert any file format supported by ffmeg
pyaudio : plays and records byte objects. tighter control on the audio input and output
wavio : converts between wav and numpy arrays
soundfile : can't play back but can convert any type supported by libsndfile
