Welcome to the Relax CMS wiki!

First of all thanks for your interest in this project, we're really excited to see a great growing community around it, we're always open to hear from you so feel free to provide us feedback by opening an issue on github or join us in our slack channel.

Introduction

Relax is a CMS built using the latest technologies, our main focus with this project is giving everyone an easy and intuitive way of creating a website. This is achieved by providing a graphic way of doing everything required from a CMS: data creation and handling; page building.

The page builder works by composition of elements which can have style and settings, these are defined by the element's developer. Of course relax brings already basic elements which allow to create a huge range of layouts and content.

Future Plans

You might be wondering, what is the goal we have for Relax and why invest full-time work on something which is open source. First of all we believe in open source, it is in our opinion the fastest way to spread the word and have a community which are willing to help, our dream is to have relax being used in mass scale so this can only be achieved by open source being that we don't have money for the advertise 😄

We do have bigger plans for Relax which will pass by making a marketplace where anyone can sell their elements and themes for Relax. In a later phase we'll also provide a Sass where people can buy a server with Relax already installed and setup. Relax cms will though be always free and open source for everyone.
