Traffic simulator

This traffic simulation game was developed as part of the course "Practical training in software engineering: programming in Java" at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich. It is loosely based on the computer games "Transport Tycoon™" from 1994 and "Simutrans" from 1997. The goal of the game consists in managing the transport network (road, rail and air traffic) in a region with several industrial plants. The simulation runs continuously, and the game map is box-based with an isometric viewpoint.

Transport lines:

Create transport lines for road, rail and air transport to carry goods between industrial facilities. Connect the right industrial facilities to maintain and expand the production chain.

Terraforming:

Use the landscaping tool to raise, lower and level land.

Scenarios:

Two scenarios have been implemented for the project: the standard "Industrial scenario" and "Vita Ex Machina", the futuristic technology scenario.
