This section describes what's currently needed (short to mid-term) for the uSched project. The following tags are used after each feature/request listed here:
- [UNASSIGNED] - There's nobody currently working on it.
- [IN_PROGRESS] - Assigned and work in progress on the current development tree.
- [LATER] - Not a priority for the current development tree.
- [URGENT] - Top priority. Must be implemented ASAP.
- Debian based and RedHat based packages to allow easy deployment and package management on mainstream distros. [UNASSIGNED]
- How-to's, examples, detailed descriptions, and so on. [UNASSIGNED]
- Migrate uSched daemons to Windows based operating systems (Cygwin for a start is enough). [UNASSIGNED]

Migrate POSIX Message Queues to System V Messages. [IN_PROGRESS]
- Audit code and ensure that it's secure. [UNASSIGNED]
