Exams are based on numericals (majority) and reasoning/theoretical questions. Focus on the logic behind solving that numerical instead of the output. Be sure to remain attentive in lectures as instructors often tend to iterate over importance of a numerical, which ultimately comes out in exam. Questions in exams may not entirely be from the book, but with minor changes in values. A good way for practise is following numericals by the end of each chapter. Past papers will help even more! This might be bitter to accept, but knowing the right formula is the key to achieving a good grade. Reasoning questions can only be aced by a good grip on concepts. Don't forget to go through the summary at the end of each chapter for a quick-revision!

Here is a bunch of blunders I wish I hadn't made in my first semester at FAST KHI. (Hopefully not again)
- Made myself busy in making the finest notes during lectures instead of actually listening and understanding what is being taught. (bro thought he's gonna be an academic-weapon cooking those notes)
- Worried more than required on less-important subjects - almost neglected the actual effort-requiring subjects over it. (no disses intended on FE, real)
- Didn't accept the fact to reconsider my routine and time expenditure - couldn't let go of the casual college life and activities rather than realizing that university life does require to let go of your previous routine and follow one that prioritizes university activities in all aspects.
