Share one mouse and keyboard between multiple computers.
Synergy is free and open source (free as in free speech), meaning you are free to run it and redistribute it with or without changes.
If you're running Ubuntu or Linux Mint, install the following:
sudo apt-get install cmake make g++ xorg-dev libqt4-dev \
libcurl4-openssl-dev libavahi-compat-libdnssd-dev libssl-dev libx11-dev
Then run the following:
./hm.sh conf
./hm.sh build
# This command will build a .deb package.
./hm.sh package deb
- Install Homebrew
- Install XCode via the App Store. (Search for it)
Open a Terminal and run this to install XCode commandline tools:
xcode-select --install
Then install cmake.
brew install cmake
Install Qt4 from this guy's repo: https://github.com/cartr/homebrew-qt4
If you have installed Qt5, then you might want to remove that, it might cause issues. (It may or may not work.)
brew tap cartr/qt4
brew tap-pin cartr/qt4
brew install qt@4
Then run the following to build an application:
./hm.sh conf
./hm.sh build
./hm.sh dist mac
