Because we started our git repository from a working copy when our
SourceForge SVN broke, and only later imported the full SVN history
via git-svn, git doesn't know about this part of the history when
doing e.g. "git blame" in master.  This tag exists to make searches
through that early svn history easier.

Tag v1.2.1 (1.2.0 update/bugfix) release.

The main purpose of this release is to backport the bundled NetCDF
4.3.1 -> 4.4.1.1 update to the 1.2.0 release, plus fix a few other
minor bugs/issues that have popped up in the meantime.
